- How much is the rent?
- Turn key furnished suites vary from $699 to $869 per month, per resident room and includes all furniture, accessories, heating, hot water, electricity, cable, wired and wireless Internet.
- Where are you located?
- 515 Ste Catherine West is located exactly three blocks south of McGill. We are between two metro stops (McGill: on McGill College Street) and (Place des Arts: on Maisoneuve) which will both get you to Concordia in 6 minutes. We are one block west of UQAM. 515 is in the heart of downtown, located near many hotels and restaurants, ready for you to visit.
Surrounded by one-of-a-kind shops and historic buildings, 515 Ste. Catherine W. is a great place to be. The building has a secure entry with an evening concierge and surveillance cameras placed throughout the building and property for the security of all residents.
- Where is the Rental office?
- Our rental office is located on the corner of Ste. Catherine W and City Councilor. The front of the building sits on Ste. Catherine W., but our rental office is accessible from the side of the building, which is located on City Councilor.
If you are coming from McGill you can find us by turning south on City Councilor (one block east of Aylmer) and walking just 3 blocks to our entrance on the right. If you are shopping Ste. Catherine and want to pop in, turn directly onto City Councilor where it meets St. Catherine W. (We're right across the street from the Future Shop and just steps away from The Bay
- What kind of apartments do you have?
- 515 Ste. Catherine W is a building designed with community in mind. We offer 4,5 Resident room suites . There is plenty of room for everyone to share, including a living room, dining area and kitchen. Each suite has 2 bathrooms and extra storage rooms.
- Do you offer roommate matching for individuals or groups of 2?
- Yes, 515 Ste. Catherine has put considerable effort into establishing an extensive roommate matching profile. This information will be used to help create the most accurate groupings possible for our students who arrive as singles. Click here to complete our Roommate Matching Application!
- Directions / Parking?
- Each tenant, closer to the move in date will be supplied with an arrival package including a detailed map of the city, and directions to parking areas around the building.
- Do you have any affiliation with the universities?
- Although we are providing housing for university students, we have no official relationships with any Montreal Universities.
- What extra facilities or amenities does the building offer?
- Because we've designed 515 with students in mind, the building offers you the following extras!
- Incredible cardio fitness room
- Game room with pool tables, foosball and video game consoles
- Cardio room with treadmills, ellipticles and bicycles
- Large free weight room and weight machines
- Movie theatre-with seating for 24!

- Are laundry facilities in the building?
- Absolutely! Each floor of the building includes an easily accessible laundry room with plenty of machines for everyone to use.
- Are pets allowed?
- Pets are not recommended as all lease holders sharing a unit are responsible for any and all damages which may result. Also, many people do not wish to live with pets or have pet allergies.
- What about insurance in case of fire, theft or natural disaster?
- Personal damages are not covered under apartment lease agreements. You are required to carry renter's insurance to cover your personal belongings in case of such an event. Renter's insurance is fairly inexpensive and can usually be obtained by the same provider of your auto insurance.
- What if I need maintenance in my apartment?
- 515 Ste. Catherine W. provides maintenance for heating and cooling issues, appliance repairs, plumbing repairs (water leaks or dripping taps), and repair or replacement of smoke detectors. If maintenance is required, please contact your on-site manager to complete a work order or submit a maintenance request on our website
- Move in Day?
- Move in day will not be a hassle here at 515 as you will be moving into a furnished apartment. You will simply need to arrive, pick up your keys, and drop your bags in the apartment. With our pending partnerships with local businesses, a quick run around the neighbourhood should allow you to grab all necessary extras allowing you to be done by dinner. For any questions, a great deal of staff will be on site to help.
- When can I move in?
- Our new leases from from May 1, 2010 to April 30, 2010. If you require shorter terms, you always have the option of a private sublet for the months you do not require the apartment.
- How do I book an appt. to view an apartment?
- Call 514-844-0999 or email info@515stecatherine.com to book a visit. Or stop by Monday to Friday 10am-6pm, Saturday-Sunday 11am-4pm.
- How do I pay for my rent?
- The rent can be paid by cheque, debit card or money order. Rent is due on the first day of every month; post-dated cheques are optional.
- How long is the lease?
- Our current leases run from May 1, 2011 to April 30, 2012. Upon availability, there may be rooms available for shorter terms stays at $1049 per room per month. Please contact the office for more information.
- How will I receive my mail?
- Resident mail is processed by Canada Post and is delivered to the mailboxes in the front lobby of the building. Each unit will receive a mailbox key. If you lose your mail key, there is a charge of $25 for replacement.
- Is furniture Included?
- Yes, furniture is included. Furnished suites include all the necessary furniture items for your resident room, living room, kitchen. as well as additional household items such as utensils, LCD TV, DVD player, etc.
- What other bills will I need to pay?
- The only bills you will need to pay will be your personal telephone. Basic cable and internet, and all utilities are included with your monthly rent.

- What paperwork is required to complete an application?
- First, you and a co-signer (typically a parent) are required to complete an Offer to Rent form.
Second, you are required to submit a deposit in the amount of one month's rent. Upon approval of your application and receipt of your deposit, you sign the final lease.
